GARY MURRAY

ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Gary Dean Murray, 49, of Alto Pass died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

He was born May 9, 1951, at Anna, Ill., son of Robert and Marian Richardson Murray.

Murray served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include his mother; a daughter, Alisha Murray of Thomaston, Ga.; two sons, Robert Dean Murray of Thomaston and Timothy Murray of Murphysboro, Ill.; a sister, Dian Stanley of Alto Pass; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Alto Pass from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bobby Richardson will officiate, with burial in Alto Pass Cemetery with military honors by the Carroll P. Foster Post VFW Post 3455 from Anna.
