Gary E. Moore, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on Aug. 12, 1942, in Cape Girardeau to Eugene and Erma Sander Moore.

Gary was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by a sister, Judy Riehn of Gordonville; a brother-in-law, Harold Lee Kasten of Tilsit; a sister-in-law, Dixie Moore of Jackson; his goddaughter, Laurie Burns of Gordonville; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Moore; and a sister, Mary Kasten.

Family and friends may gather from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion United Methodist Church, west of Gordonville.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment, with full military honors, will follow in the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Methodist Church or cemetery and will be accepted at the church.

Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
