Gary Wayne Howdeshell, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born July 29, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, to Owen K. and Ruby May Myers Howdeshell.
Howdeshell was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea.
He was an anesthesia tech at Southeast Hospital and Heartland Plastic Surgery. He was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include three sisters; two aunts, Eunice Allen and LaWanda Bartels of Cape Girardeau; two uncles, Jerry Allen of Ukiah, Calif., and Earl Allen of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Brett Randall officiating. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lorimier Cemetery.
