Gary Green

Gary Dean "Cotton" Green, 62, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

He was born April 24, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, the son to Barney and Edna Aline Hawkins Green.

He is survived by a daughter, Christy Morgan of Cape Girardeau; five brothers, Bill Green of Bloomfield, Missouri, Jerry Green of St. Charles, Missouri, Donald Green of St. Louis, Barney Ray Green of Scott City and Roy Green of Bell City, Missouri; and seven sisters, Linda Harvey of Bloomfield, Shelby Compas of Scott City, Dixie Bollinger of Lowndes, Missouri, Sharon Delay of Bell City, Faye Cockrell of Grassy, Missouri, Sue Adams of Steele, Missouri, and Doris Lacey of Bell City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and James Green; and a sister, Wanda Powers.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Missouri.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral chapel, with Jerry Green officiating. Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park.
