NEW WELLS -- Funeral service for Gary Edward McCauley of New Wells will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. O. David Griffin will officiate, with burial in Goshen Cemetery near Oak Ridge.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
McCauley, 59, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born March 27, 1936, at Daisy, son of Carl J. and Reba T. Morton McCauley. He and Kay Carron were married July 25, 1959, in Oak Ridge.
McCauley was a boat captain on the Mississippi River more than 28 years, retiring in 1981.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Pat McCauley of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Lynne King of Fruitland; his parents of Jackson; a sister, Carlyn Ade of St. Louis, and four grandchildren.
