Gary Dover

Gary L. Dover, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 15, 1940, in Jonesboro, Ill., son of Raymond and Verda Meisenheimer Dover. He and Bonnie Michelson were married Dec. 27, 1974, in Cape Girardeau.

Dover served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ray Dover of Cape Girardeau, Eddie Crader of Scott City; five daughters, Dianna Dover of Florida, Debbie D'Elia of Oregon, Gina George, Elizabeth Simpkins and Holly Dover, all of St. Louis; two brothers, Collin Dover of Dexter, Mo., Eldon Dover of Scott City; a sister, Mary Sprenger of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
