DE SOTO, Mo. -- Gary Dean Sutton, 65, of De Soto, formerly of Jackson, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017, at his home.
He was born Dec. 10, 1951, in Kennett, Missouri, to Cecil E. and Snodie Mae Murphy Sutton.
Gary worked many years in extrusion plastic. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Loving survivors include two children, Stephanie (Tim) Matteson of Dresser, Wisconsin, and Jeff (Brandy) Sutton of Millersville; five grandchildren, Tayler (Morgan) Gordon, Hannah and Kendall Matteson and Tyler and Kaylie Sutton; his mother, Snodie Sutton of De Soto; two brothers, Ron (Cindy) Sutton of De Soto and Dennis (Christene) Sutton of Festus, Missouri; four nephews; two nieces; and his former wife, Bobbi (Gary) Huber of Perryville, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Sutton; and a granddaughter, Brittaney Lynn.
A memorial visitation will be from 3 p.m. to service time Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Dennis Sutton officiating.
