Gary Davault

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Gary Lee Davault, 84, of Advance passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at his home in Advance. He was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Sank in Bollinger County, Missouri, the son of Willard Davault and Martha Cooper.

Gary worked for over 20 years at the Inland Shoe factory in Advance. He was also a business manager at various other places in his life. He was also a member of the Church of Christ in Advance.

Gary and Dolly Lou Cowger were united in marriage on Oct. 25, 1953, in Tunica, Mississippi, and she preceded him in death Jan. 12, 2019.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Davault Jr. and Michael Davault, both of Advance; daughter Teresa Stacy of Advance; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dolly Davault; a son, Randy Davault; and a brother, Seldon Davault.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Randy Fuller officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
