Gary Charles Clements, 67, of Perryville, Missouri, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at his home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1956, in Perryville to Kellie Louis and Mary Theresa Meyer Clements.
He was a contractor and owner of Gary Clements Construction. He was a skilled craftsman and helped everybody in need. Gary was also an avid hunter, making several trips to Wyoming and Colorado, in search of big deer, bull elk and big antelope. He was raised on the family farm and will be missed by his special buddy, Piper the beagle, and Ruby, the neighbor's bloodhound, who frequented for bacon treats.
He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, Missouri.
Survivors include two sisters, Ruth (Don) Brown of Patton, Missouri, and Donna (H. Kent) Skelton of Perryville; three nephews, Joseph (Gretchen) Brown of Jackson, Patrick (Samantha) Brown of Biehle and Matthew (Amanda) Skelton of Fredericktown, Missouri; two nieces, Sister Mary George Brown, FSGM, of Champaign, Illinois, and Stacy (Cory) Baker of Villa Ridge, Missouri; and grand-niece and grand-nephews, Gabriel and Peyton Brown, William, Nolan, Avery and Landon Brown and Linley and Remington Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, with the Rev. Michael Benz officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given toward family use or to St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle.
