READING, Pa. -- Gary G. Buckner, 43, of Reading died unexpectedly Friday, March 8, 2002, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
He was born in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., on Oct. 18, 1958, son of James R. and Janet M. Cooke Buckner.
He was employed as a fabrication manager by Penske Racing in Reading and attended Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Sinking Spring, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Kristen Buckner; three children, Russell D. Buckner of Banbury, England, Ryan C. Buckner and Megan E. Buckner, both at home; his father, James R. Buckner of Souldern, England; and other distant relatives in the Cape Girardeau area.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Reynolds.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, in Losantville Separate Baptist Church, Losantville, Ind. Pastor Tim Reynolds will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, near Losantville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Culberson Funeral Home, Modoc, Ind., and at the church after 9:30 a.m. Friday.
