Gail Grissom

Gail E. Grissom, 90, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Dongola, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Jan. 3, 1918, in Dongola, daughter of Oaks Leland and Edith Eddleman Dodd.

Survivors include a son, Terry Grissom of Anna, Ill.; a brother, Lee Dodd of Anna; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola, with the Rev. Tony Foeller officiating.
