CHARLESTON -- Funeral for Gail B. Davis of Charleston will be held at 10 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Rick White will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
Davis, 78, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Nov. 7, 1920, in Oran, daughter of Richard and Elveda A. Reberry Benson. She and Robert R. Davis were married Sept. 2,1946.
Davis lived in Charleston most of her life. She was collector for the city of Charleston 21 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of United Methodist Church, and charter member of the Junior Study Club.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Stephen Miller of Charleston; and two grandchildren.
