PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Gabriel Leslie Feltz, 47, youngest son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence W. Feltz, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at his home in Wichita, Kan.

Gabe was born Sept. 3, 1962, in Perryville. He was a 1981 graduate of St. Vincent de Paul High School, graduated from Linn Technical School, and then completed a bachelor of arts from Southwestern University.

He was an FAA inspector for Spirit Aviations in Wichita.

Surviving brothers and sisters include Lawrence C. Feltz of Houston, Texas, Kerry Lea (Tim) O'Keeffe of Atlanta, Ga., Jan (Steve) Redington of Wildwood, Mo., Kaye (Terry) Miederhoff of Perryville, Renee (Denny) Welker of Parker, Colo., Jay (Marcia) Feltz of Bahama, N.C., Suzettae (Dale) Labuary of Monroe City, Mo., Kim (Laura) Feltz of Columbia, Ill., and Jeffery (Bridget) Feltz of Chesterfield, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Timothy Shannon Feltz.

Gabe was a sweet, gentle and loving brother and uncle. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
