CHARLESTON -- Fronie Frances McCormick, 82, of Charleston died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Aug. 9, 1914, at Princeton, Ky., daughter of Charles Edward and Donnie Oliver McCormick. She lived in Charleston most of her life. She was employed with Brown Shoe Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1978...

CHARLESTON -- Fronie Frances McCormick, 82, of Charleston died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Aug. 9, 1914, at Princeton, Ky., daughter of Charles Edward and Donnie Oliver McCormick.

She lived in Charleston most of her life. She was employed with Brown Shoe Co. for 38 years, retiring in 1978.

She had attended the Elm Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Roberta Stagner of Poplar Bluff and Mary Powell of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4:30-8 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Green of Donaldson, Ind., will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
