CAIRO, Ill. -- Frona Ferna Thomas, 94, of Cairo, died Tuesday, Mat 19, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born in Olney, Ill. on Nov. 30, 1897, the daughter of Cyrus and Nettie Voke McKee. She married Sidney B. Thomas in 1973. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church...

CAIRO, Ill. -- Frona Ferna Thomas, 94, of Cairo, died Tuesday, Mat 19, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born in Olney, Ill. on Nov. 30, 1897, the daughter of Cyrus and Nettie Voke McKee.

She married Sidney B. Thomas in 1973. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Toby Beulah Irene Griffith of Sedgewickville; one son, Sidney E. Thomas of Lone Oak, Ky.; one sister, Lou Whitley of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Dr. Larry Potts officiating. Burial will follow in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds.
