ANNA, Ill. -- Frieda Wright, 92, of Anna, died Friday, Sept. 22, 1995, at her home. She was born March 9, 1903, in Jackson County, the daughter of Louis Almer and Cynthia Elizabeth Henson Whisler. She was married to Waldo Wright, who preceded her in death in 1977...

ANNA, Ill. -- Frieda Wright, 92, of Anna, died Friday, Sept. 22, 1995, at her home.

She was born March 9, 1903, in Jackson County, the daughter of Louis Almer and Cynthia Elizabeth Henson Whisler. She was married to Waldo Wright, who preceded her in death in 1977.

Wright was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anna.

Survivors include two sons, Robert M. Wright of Anna and Leslie W. Wright of Dongola; a brother, Kenneth Whisler of Alton; a sister, Irma Schilling of Avon Park, Fla.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Burial will follow in Anna Cemetery.
