FRIEDA SIMMONS SNEED

ADVANCE - Frieda Simmons Sneed of Poplar Bluff, a former resident of Advance, died Friday, Oct. 11, 1991 at the Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. She was 85.

She was born Feb. 15, 1906 at Advance to Joseph and Hattie Simmons. In 1942, she married Warner Sneed in St. Charles. He died in 1966.

She was a member of the Eastern Star at Advance.

Surviving are a niece, Lena Keepers of Poplar Bluff, and several great nieces and nephews. Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Morgan-Sifford Chapel at Puxico. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Wiley McGhee and Dale Sifford.

Burial will be Tuesday in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Wood River, Ill.
