FRIEDA M. SCHMIDT

PERRYVILLE -- Frieda M. Schmidt, 86, of Perryville, died Wednesday, July 24, 1991, at Perry County Hospital.

She was born Aug. 3, 1904, in Beemer, Neb., daughter of William and Louise Roper Haasa. She married Edwin Schmidt Feb. 9, 1927. He died Dec. 2, 1978.

Schmidt was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Altenburg, its Ladies Auxiliary, and Altenburg Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sisters, Louise Buckholz and Neoma Rolf of Beemer; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Church. The Rev. Willard Kassulke will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg after 6 p.m. Friday.
