FRIEDA LEGRAND

KELSO -- Frieda Katherine LeGrand, 98, of Kelso died Monday, April 14, 1997, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 14, 1899, at New Hamburg, daughter of Jacob and Rose Dumey Koelzer She and Michael Samuel LeGrand were married April 22, 1920. He died May 23, 1983.

LeGrand was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include a son, Ervin LeGrand of Kelso; two daughters, Marie Reeves of Kelso, Wilma Stephan of Lake St. Louis; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be at 8, and the KC service at 8:15.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
