Freeda Crain, 91, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.
Born Aug. 26, 1910, in Diehlstadt, Mo., she was the daughter of Perly and Laura Ann Hogg Collier.
On July 2, 1938, she was married to Rufus "Doc" Crain in New Madrid, Mo. He died Oct. 11, 1992.
Crain was a former employee of Elder Manufacturing in St. Louis and Dexter.
Survivors include a son, Carlon Crain of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Phyllis Oliver of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Leeda Glenn of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. today at the Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Wray officiating. Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
