MARBLE HILL -- Frederick J. Warner, 82, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, March 5, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 10, 1913 in Green County, Ark., son of Charles Frederick and Nancy Elizabeth Foster Warner.
He married Berniece Christina Douglas Dec. 24, 1944. She survives.
Warner was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church near Marble Hill.
He also is survived by three sons, James F. Warner Jr. of Hazelwood, Edward D. Warner of Tulsa, Okla., and William P. Warner of Marble Hill; five daughters, Christina Hertensen of Marquand, Pamela Mouser of Arlington, Texas, Mary E. Fulmer of Dickerson, Texas, Opal F. Shanks of Jackson and Nancy Williams of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Noble Warner of Kansas City; two sisters, Mildred Beck of Los Angeles and Joyce Massa of Herculeanum; 22 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Two sons, two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright and the Rev. Steven Sander officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
