MARBLE HILL -- Freddie W. Green, 81, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, July 27, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 2, 1912, at Jackson, son of George and Hulda Bailey Green.

He married Rhoda Masters, May 14, 1932.

Green owned and operated the Green Auction Barn in Marble Hill.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, L.R. Green of Jackson, Freddie Dean Green and Terry Green, both of Marble Hill; three daughters, Peggy McElvain, Betty Grindstaff and Zella Mungle, all of Marble Hill; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons and three brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Leslie officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sedgewickville Cemetery.
