Freda Menley

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Freda Marie Menley, 77, of Chaffee died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 4, 1927, at Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of Charles Albert and Valley Odessa Lincoln Patton. She and Joe Menley were married Nov. 26, 1945.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jonell Schaefer of Sikeston, Mo., Brenda Thiele of Chaffee; a brother, Troy Patton of Glenallen, Mo.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
