DEXTER -- Funeral service for Freda Floyd of Kirkwood will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, with the Rev. Gail Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
Floyd, 55, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 1994, at her home.
She was born May 17, 1939, at Risco, daughter of James Gilbert and Laura Alberson Reaves. She and Harry "Sonny" Floyd were married Oct. 13, 1957.
Floyd had lived in Dexter, Idalia and Marble Hill, moving to Kirkwood eight years ago. She was a member of Prospect General Baptist Church in Wentzville.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Danny Floyd of Kirkwood, Duane Floyd of Cape Girardeau, Stephen Floyd of Fruitland; a daughter, Pamela Campbell of Bloomfield; a brother, James Reaves of St. Charles; three sisters, Mary Swinger of Dexter, Bernice Goss of Cahokia, Ill., Amanda Dempsey of Okeechobee, Fla., and five grandchildren.
