SIKESTON -- Fred T. Laminack, 87, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 17, 1905, at Rison, Ark., son of Thomas E. and Shelly C. Hutto Laminack. He and Eva Lee Carr were married Dec. 26, 1926, in Aim, Ark.
Laminack had worked at Himmelberger-Harrison Manufacturing Co. at Morehouse. He was a member of First Baptist Church there, and former trustee, deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was a 50-year member of Morehouse Masonic Lodge, and had served on the Morehouse City Council and school board.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Fred Laminack Jr. of Lafayette, La.; a daughter, Ural Coppage of Sikeston; two sisters, Lula Laminack and Reba Taylor of Pine Bluff, Ark.; three granddaughters; six great-grandchildren, and Edwin Vonkahn of Fort Worth, Texas, whom he reared.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. J.D. McClard will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Lawrence Ray. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Friday.
