JACKSON -- Fred Henry Stockton Jr., 67, of Jackson died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, at his home.
He was born April 12, 1931, in Port Lavaca, Texas, son of Fred Henry and Lila Mirl Neal Stockton. He and Joyce Petzoldt were married Aug. 29, 1993.
Stockton was maintenance manager at Lee-Rowan Co. He served in the U.S. Navy 20 years, and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars.
He was a member of Altenthal Joerns American Legion Post 158, and Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Timothy and Thomas Hecht of Jackson; a daughter, Sherri Revelle of Jackson; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today. An American Legion Honor Guard service will be held at 7.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eddie Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
