ULLIN, Ill. -- Fred Payne, 27, of Ullin, died Monday, May 22, 1995, in an automobile accident on Grapevine Trail.
He was born May 6, 1968, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Alfred Cleveland Collins and Betty Jean Payne.
Payne was a welder with Transcraft Inc. in Anna.
Survivors include two sons, Chalen Payne of Unity, Deron Moore of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Piara and Paige Payne of Ullin, Jeneika Payne of Unity; his mother and stepfather, Betty and Clifton Davis of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Calvin Payne of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Lisa Johnson and Patricia Payne of Cape Girardeau; three stepbrothers, Clifton and Billie Davis of East St. Louis, Edward Davis of Cape Girardeau; four stepsisters, Doris Jones and Caroline Davis of Cahokia, Callie Scott and Gestel Davis of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau after 11 a.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
