FRED FOESTE

Fred H. Foeste, 80, of Park Hills, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Country Meadows in Park Hills. Foeste was born on June 16, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Martin and Minnie Guy Foeste. He worked for the Frisco Railroad Co. and at saw mills around the Cape Girardeau-Jackson area. He married Irene Wolk in 1951 in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. She died on May 23, 1975...

Fred H. Foeste, 80, of Park Hills, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Country Meadows in Park Hills.

Foeste was born on June 16, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Martin and Minnie Guy Foeste.

He worked for the Frisco Railroad Co. and at saw mills around the Cape Girardeau-Jackson area. He married Irene Wolk in 1951 in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. She died on May 23, 1975.

He is survived by a sister, Anna Skaggs of Bonne Terre, Mo.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service, Tuesday at the Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Thomas Reeder officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
