LEOPOLD -- Fred Joseph Elfrink, 60, of Leopold died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 12, 1938, at Laflin, son of Fred W. and Louise Anger Elfrink.
He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church at Leopold, St. Isidore Council Knights of Columbus 5898, Teamsters St. Louis Local and the National Rifle Association.
He was a retired truck driver for the National Food Stores.
He married Berenetta Moore on June 21, 1957, at Leopold.
Survivors include his wife of Leopold; a son, Todd Elfrink of Leopold; a daughter, Tina Mouser of Marble Hill; a brother, Justin Elfrink of Jackson; three sisters, Agnes Trankle of Leopold, Loretta Elfrink of St. Louis and Therese Elfrink of Leopold; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish prayers and Knights of Columbus rosary will be held at 7 at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
The Rev. Frederick Lutz will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
