FRANKLIN D. HERNANDEZ

MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Franklin D. Hernandez, 57, of Marble Hill, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Liley Funeral Chapel. Dr. John Englehart officiated. Burial was in Lessley Cemetery near Marble Hill.

Hernandez was dead on arrival Thursday, May 2, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Dec. 20, 1933, at Carbon Hill, Ala., son of Filepe Hernandez and Lucille Herron Hernandez. He married Agnes Stratton Sept. 30, 1956.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Sheila Hernandez, Laurie Hernandez, Donna Estes, and Teresa Warner, all of Marble Hill, Saundra Hernandez of Lutesville; brothers, Phillip Hernandez of Taylor, Mich., Buster Hernandez of Soddy Daisey, Tenn.; sisters, Virginia Poole of Birmingham, Ala., Jewell Stratton of Sturdivant, Lois Wilson and Joyce Odom of Jasper, Ala., and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, brother, and two sisters.
