ADVANCE, Mo. -- Frankie James Nelson, 52, of Advance died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at his home.

He was born Sept. 9, 1953, at Advance, the son of the late Adam and Juanita Acord Nelson.

Nelson was a 1971 graduate of Advance High School and worked as a cement mason with the Local 527 in St. Louis.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Jines of Bloomfield, Mo.; two brothers, Gary Nelson and Dave Nelson, both of Advance; a sister, Melissa Dalton of Dallas, Texas; and a granddaughter, Madison Jines of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Adam Blair Dalton.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. LeeRoy Hefner will officiate, with a private family burial at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
