Funeral for Frank Zieba of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. today at Taylor Funeral Chapel in Farmington. Dr. David Webster will officiate, with burial in Lutheran Cemetery at Farmington.
Zieba, 88, died Wednesday, April 8, 1998, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
He was born March 15, 1910, at Desloge, son of Nicholas and Theodosia Repak Zieba. He married the former Alma Louise Cleve, who preceded him in death.
Zieba had worked many years at United Bank and Mercantile Bank of Farmington. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club of Farmington, and had served on the Farmington School Board. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Zieba of DeSoto, Ill., James Zieba of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Anna Rachitz and Eva Purdis of Madison, Ill.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
