FRANK VANDEVEN

He was born Jan. 30, 1921, at Leopold, son of Gerhard and Anna Thele Vandeven. He and Florence Hass were married May 11, 1946. Vandeven retired as a machinist at McDonnell Aircraft. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Francis Vandeven of St. ...

He was born Jan. 30, 1921, at Leopold, son of Gerhard and Anna Thele Vandeven. He and Florence Hass were married May 11, 1946.

Vandeven retired as a machinist at McDonnell Aircraft. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Francis Vandeven of St. Louis, Tom and Steven Vandeven of Chicago; a daughter, Linda Vandeven of Rolla; a brother, Edward Vandeven of Fenton; two sisters, Amelda Schreckengost of St. Louis, Dorothy Glastetter of Scott City; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Catholic Church in Belle. Burial will be in Owensville Cemetery.
