DESLOGE, Mo. -- Frank "F.C." Primo, 92, of Desloge passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016, at his home.

He was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Kinsey, Missouri, the son of the late Hattie May (nee Scoble) and Arthur Francis "Bud" Primo.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, M. Bernice (nee Gansner) Primo; son Randall (Daria) Primo of Desloge; daughter Janet L. (Rodger) Chisman of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sister E. Loraine (the late Thomas) Clark of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; brother-in-law Ray (the late Dee) Gansner of Ruskin, Florida; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre during World War II, receiving two Bronze Stars; was a farmer in Kinsey from 1946 to 1965; retired as plant manager from River Cement Corp. in 1984; is a member of First United Methodist Church of Park Hills, Missouri, a founding member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church of Festus, Misosuri, and a former member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau; was a longtime member of the Kinsey Volunteer Fire Department, Cape Girardeau VFW #3838 and 50-year member of the Bloomsdale American Legion Post; and received his 50-year member recognition in the St. Mary Masonic Lodge in 2012.

He is best known for his faith in God, love of family and fishing.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, Missouri.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Eddie Bone, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Park Hills.

Interment with full military honors will be in Concord Cemetery, Bloomsdale, Missouri.

Memorials in his memory are preferred to Concord Cemetery Fund, 10499 State Route 00, Bloomsdale, MO 63627 or First United Methodist Church of Park Hills or Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
