ANNA, Ill. -- Frank Pitts, 82, of Anna died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born June 4, 1918, in Anna, son of Oakley and Bessie Harper Pitts. He and LaVeda Fritz were married July 13, 1946, in Anna.
Pitts was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ill., member and past governor of Anna Moose Lodge #1346, and member of Bakers and Confectionary Workers Local #199. He was retired from Bunny Bread in Anna.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Linda Jean Kelley of Jonesboro and Kathy Manus of Anna; a sister, Ann Drum of Mountain Home, Ark.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, three brothers and a grandson.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
