Frank M. Kimes, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born March 22, 1911, at Piedmont to Thomas R. and Mary Griggs Kimes. He married Emily Mae Sutton at Piedmont on Sept. 11, 1948. She died June 30, 1978.
He was a member of the Baptist faith and worked in a sawmill.
Survivors include two sons, Frank E. Kimes of Farmington and Frank M. Kimes of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Lena Mae Hency of Jackson and Mary Woodall, Alice Woodall, Judy Oberts and Mildred Kimes, all of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Tymann Kimes of Piedmont; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons, a daughter, four brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe McCullogh officiating. Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
