SCOTT CITY -- Funeral Mass for Frank Louis Lindsey, Scott City Route 2, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Pat Wissman will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church after 5 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
Lindsey, 80, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 31, 1917, in Illmo, son of Robert E. and Louise Miller Lindsey. He and Lavada A. Jackson were married June 23, 1945, at Fornfelt.
Lindsey was a farmer and also owned and operated a peach orchard. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph Credit Union and Missouri Credit Union League.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Joe Lindsey of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Frances Moore of Dallas, Texas; a stepbrother, Ralph Bailey of St. Louis; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
