MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Frank James, 73, of Marble Hill passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018.
He was born May 2, 1945, in Glenallen, Missouri, son of Loya Lomas and Mahala Simmons James. He and Ellen Marie Hughes were united in marriage June 6, 1965.
Frank loved riding horses with his horse buddies, worked in real estate, was an appraiser and an auctioneer and was a salesman for Lutesville Motor Co. He attended the Cottage of Grace General Baptist Church in Marble Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Marie James; son, Josh (Lottie) James of Marble Hill; daughter, Cassie Jetton of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Joe James of Virginia and Don James of Marble Hill; sisters, Nellie Diesel Lyons of New Mexico and Jessie DuBois of Indiana; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bennie James; and sister, Judy Daniels.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in the McGee Chapel Cemetery in Glenallen.
