SIKESTON -- Frank E. Parrish, 75, of Sikeston, died Thursday, July 14, 1994, in the emergency room at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 7, 1919, in Morehouse, son of John and Ida R. Goodwin Parrish. He and Velva Smith Brown were married Aug. 2, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.
Parrish had worked for Allis-Chalmers Implement Co., and since 1985 has worked at Aufdenberg Equipment Co. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and its Men's Bible Class, and Morehouse Masonic Lodge. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Frank Parrish II of St. Louis; two daughters, Sonja Sullivan of St. Louis, Sherra Pedigo of Chicago Heights, Ill.; three grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles E. Buck officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
