Frank A. Keesee, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, July 5, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born June 9, 1912, in Scott City to Thomas and Mary Shrum Keesee.
He married Etta W. Reed on Oct. 7, 1933, in Cape Girardeau.
He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
He worked 42 years for Marquette Cement Co. as a machine operator. He retired in 1971.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Kenneth Keesee of Texas City, Texas, and Don Keesee of Bethalto, Ill.; a brother, Claude Keesee of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. He will be buried in Lorimier Cemetery.
