SIKESTON -- Francis Richard Jenkins, 68, of Sikeston died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at his home. He was born Jan. 13, 1931, at Morehouse, son of Albert and Mary Vanover Jenkins. He and Lillian Hubbard were married June 18, 1948, at Sikeston. Jenkins was a machine operator at Potlatch Corp. SIKESTON -- Francis Richard Jenkins, 68, of Sikeston died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at his home.

He was born Jan. 13, 1931, at Morehouse, son of Albert and Mary Vanover Jenkins. He and Lillian Hubbard were married June 18, 1948, at Sikeston.

Jenkins was a machine operator at Potlatch Corp. He was a member of Trinity Chapel, and the founder and a member of the Gospel Jubileers.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Johnny, Guy and Roger Jenkins; a daughter, Mary King; a brother, Jackie Jenkins; a sister, Betty Long, all of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Smith Avenue Church of God in Sikeston, with the Rev. Elizabeth Banks officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett.
