Francis J. Reynolds Sr., 72, of St. Charles, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, April 2, 1992, at St. Joseph's Health Center in St. Charles.
He was born July 11, 1919, in Cape Girardeau, son of Henry and Mary Donnelly Reynolds. He married Virginia Swann, who died in 1978.
Reynolds attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was employed 20 years at Florsheim Shoe Company in Cape Girardeau, and then worked 18 years at McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis, retiring in December 1981.
Survivors include three sons, Francis Reynolds Jr. of Harvester, Timothy and Robert Reynolds of Wright City; four brothers, Tom and Paul Reynolds of Cape Girardeau, William Reynolds of Gary, Ind., John Reynolds of Hoffman Estates Ill., and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Old St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Richard Rolwing will officiate, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
