DIEHLSTADT, Mo. -- Francis Dale Gage, 67, of Diehlstadt died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at his home.
He was born April 27, 1939, in the Lusk Chapel community of Scott County, son of William Raymond and Lillian Decker Gage. He and Orvellene Britt were married Sept. 21, 1963.
Gage lived in the Lusk Chapel community most of his life, moving to Diehlstadt 16 years ago. He was a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Allen Gage of the Lusk Chapel community, Gregory Dale Gage of Benton, Mo.; five brothers, William "Bill" and Don Gage of Charleston, Richard Gage of Bertrand, Mo., Barney Gage of Henderson, Ky., Warren Gage of Benton; two sisters, Mary Lou Bradley of Charleston, Theda Williams of Sikeston, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
