TAMMS, Ill. -- Frances Wallis, 88, of Dellrose, Tenn., formerly of Tamms, died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999, at her home. She was born March 28, 1911, in Barlow, Ky., the daughter of Hubert and Sallie Batty Mosley. She married Robert Wallis on Feb. 4, 1937. He died on Nov. 30, 1995...

TAMMS, Ill. -- Frances Wallis, 88, of Dellrose, Tenn., formerly of Tamms, died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999, at her home.

She was born March 28, 1911, in Barlow, Ky., the daughter of Hubert and Sallie Batty Mosley.

She married Robert Wallis on Feb. 4, 1937. He died on Nov. 30, 1995.

She is survived by a son, Robert H. Wallis of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mary Herbison of Dellrose and Frances Coates of Fairborn, Ohio; a sister, Lydia Neathammer of Cairo; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The Rev. Billy Don Heady will officiate. Burial will be in the Beechwood Cemetery.
