Frances Trickey, 69, 2216 Melrose, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1992, at her home.
She was born Feb. 5, 1923, at Herculaneum, daughter of James William and Madge Davidson Queen. She and Cecil Trickey were married Oct. 5, 1945, in St. Louis.
Trickey was a communications specialist with the U.S. Navy Waves during World War II. She was a secretary and accounting clerk, retiring in 1985 from the Housing and Urban Development in St. Louis. The Trickeys moved to Cape Girardeau in August from Portland, Texas.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Tyler Trickey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, James Trickey of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Susan Menke of Fredericksburg, Va.; a sister, Dorothy Waller of Malden, and six grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. David Conley will officiate, with burial in McLane Chapel Cemetery near Oriole.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
