BENTON, Mo. -- Frances "Becky" Moore, passed away peacefully Monday, June 6, 2022. at her home in Benton with her husband and family by her side. Frances was born Nov. 5, 1937. to Thomas Marshall and Eva Mae Davidson Hensley at the family home in Benton. She was united in marriage to Roy William Moore Sr. on May 20, 1956, celebrating 66 years of marriage...

BENTON, Mo. -- Frances "Becky" Moore, passed away peacefully Monday, June 6, 2022. at her home in Benton with her husband and family by her side.

Frances was born Nov. 5, 1937. to Thomas Marshall and Eva Mae Davidson Hensley at the family home in Benton. She was united in marriage to Roy William Moore Sr. on May 20, 1956, celebrating 66 years of marriage.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Roy (Shirley) Moore Jr. of Benton, Becky Jane (Floyd Jr.) Burton of Tamms, Illinois, Darlene (Danny) Ray of Benton, and Richard (Jill) Moore of St. Cloud, Missouri. They also raised one grandson, Patrick (Marisa) Moore of Omaha, Nebraska. They together had 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild making a total of 45 grandkids; by one brother, Toney Marshall Hensley Sr. (Shirley); many nieces and nephews, several that called her mom and Grandma; and by a special son, Dennis Lowe and family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers James, Clif and John Hensley; by three sisters, Ann Moore Vincent, Ruth Welker and Mary Lou Hensley.

Becky was a life-long member of the Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton assisting with arrangements.

The Moore family would like to give a special thank you to Crown Hospice.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, American Cancer Society or Unity Baptist Church in Benton.
