SIKESTON -- Frances A. McBride, 72, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 1, 1924, at Birch Tree, daughter of Charles Allen and Pearl McLaughlin Wade. She and Joseph Ernest McBride were married March 16, 1944. He died July 14, 1974.
McBride was a member of Morehouse Assembly of God Church. She was formerly of Tampa, Fla.
Survivors include two sons, Charles McBride of Tampa, Gregory McBride of Seffner, Fla.; three daughters, Catherine Burch, Anita Cannon and Rose Ebanks, all of Sikeston; three stepsons, Paul McBride of Florida, Luther McBride of Naples, Fla., Arthur McBride of Seffner; a stepdaughter, Zodie Campbell of New Madrid.
Other survivors include two brothers, Jim Wade of Romulus, Mich., Oscar Wade of Independence; five sisters, Olive Faulkner and Marietta Martin of Birch Tree, Melissa Arvin of Mountain View, Gertrude Hopkins of Montier, and Peg Helfrich of Romulus; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a stepson, and three brothers.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rick Krietemeyer officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Montier Cemetery at Montier.
