Frances Lineberry

Frances Irene Lineberry, 80, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at her home.

She was born Jan. 18, 1940, in Cape Girardeau to Newton and Irene Gilliland.

She and C.E. "Buck" Lineberry were married Oct. 14, 1963, in Caruthersville, Missouri.

Frances was a member of the former Westside Church of God.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Beth Kenkel of Cape Girardeau; son, Mark (Christine) Lineberry of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Newton Gilliland of Jackson and L.R. Gilliland; sister, Kay Story of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cape Community Church.

Donations may be directed to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
