CHAFFEE -- Funeral Mass for Frances Ella Leible of Chaffee will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The Rev. Ralph Duffner will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with parish prayers to be held at 7 o'clock and VFW Auxiliary service at 7:30.
Leible, 81, died Saturday, July 24, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 9, 1918, in Scott County, daughter of Celestine and Amelia Bollinger Hahn. She and Leonard Charles Leible Sr. were married March 1, 1938, at New Hamburg. He died Sept. 5, 1987.
Leible was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Daughters of St. Ambrose, Legion of Mary and VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, Leonard "Sonny" Leible Jr. and Tommy Leible, both of Chaffee; five daughters, Mary Hooker of Holder, Fla., Rose Ryan of Davison, Mich., Cathy Ginther of Schererville, Ind., Ellen Lane of Lilbourn and Carol Blanchard of Rochester, Ind.
Also surviving are two brothers, John Hahn of Hayward, Calif., Joe Hahn of Walnut Creek, Calif.; a sister, Lucille Enderle of Kelso; 20 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
