PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Frances Anna Krauss, 89, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Independence Care Center. She was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Old Appleton, daughter of Oscar William and Helen Marie Meyer Dambach. She married Harvey W. Krauss on Feb. 24, 1946. He preceded her in death May 27, 2013...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Frances Anna Krauss, 89, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Independence Care Center.

She was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Old Appleton, daughter of Oscar William and Helen Marie Meyer Dambach. She married Harvey W. Krauss on Feb. 24, 1946. He preceded her in death May 27, 2013.

Frances was retired from Prince Gardner as an inspector and supervisor. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

Other survivors include a daughter, Karolyn (Larry) Marr of Perryville; a sister, Mary Haertling of McMinnville, Oregon; two grandchildren, Scott (fiancee, Suzi Mohr) and Jamie (Jaime) Marr; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four sisters, Leona Huber, Florence Drum, Dorothy Oberndorfer and Lillian Brune; and two brothers, Elliott and Ralph Dambach.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association, Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or Crown Hospice.
